I was thinking of creating an indepth guide but there's already so much helpful content available, I thought it would make more sense to compile some here.
Prerequisite: Java JDK version 17 or higher
If you already have JDK 17 or higher, you shouldn't need to install anything further, though it doesn't hurt to stay up to date.

The above video walks through an Install using the
ATLauncher
launcher and the
Simply Optimized
modpack.
These Should work great, however I personally use and recommend the
Fabulously Optimized
Modpack as it has more features out of the box such as Shader support, connected textures, and Optifine Zoom
